11/12/17 - This week in the LISFL saw a return to form for New York Hota Bavarians forward Cheiek Tidiani, who led the way with four goals as Hota advanced to the semi-finals in the ENYSSA Vargas Cup.

Manning Cup

New York Shamrocks eliminated Glen Cove Avellino in a one-sided affair by a score of 7-0. Former MYPA forward Yannick Salmon scored for Real New York FC, but New York Pancyprians were far too strong as they won 7-1.

Flamhaft Cup

Central Park Rangers - Red defeated Floral Park 6-0. New York West Indies United lost 3-0 to New York Ukranians. Alexander Tsirikonis and Louis Fede each scored a goal for Port Jefferson Fusion, but it wasn't enough as they lost 5-2 to Sporting Astoria. Oceanside United were elimiated on penalty kicks 7-6 after a 0-0 score.

Strumpf Cup

Pro-Touch Eagles United defeated FC Partizani 5-1 with Giancarlo Medina scoring twice. Alex Martinez, Rodrigo Bonilla, and Christian Banegas each scored a goal for Pro-Touch in the win. Pro-Touch will face Lansdowne Bhoys Metro in the next round.

Guyana Jaguars Juniors advanced by defeating Mr Dennehy's FC 5-4. Bradley Nestor scored twice, while Julian Cambridge, Lenson McDougal, and Roger Cambridge each added a goal for Guyana who will face American Outlaws Brooklyn.

Marth Cup

Polonez were eliminated by a score of 3-2 to Baisley United. Adam Piechota and Jacek Kaplan scored for Polonez. Lance Cockburn, Darweshi Roberts, and Jefferson Hinds were the Baisley goalscorers.

Glen Cove Avellino defeated Manhattan Celtic Legends 5-4 to advance. Damian James scored twice, with Craig Gordon, Allan Maragh, and Samuel Minaya each scoring a goal.

Marcus Julien scored a hat-trick to give Integral Kings a 3-0 win over SC Gjoa.

Long Island Gaels defeated Istria by a score of 4-2. Chris Crandon scored twice with Nathan Brill and Aykan Yurdacan each scoring a goal for the Gaels. Damir Basic and Daniel Peros were the Istria goalscorers.

With these results, Baisley advance to the quarter-finals where they'll face the winner of New York Hota Bavarians vs Glen Cove. Integral Kings advance to face Garden City Centennials. The winner of the game will face Long Island Gaels in the quarter-finals.

Vargas Cup

Baldwin advanced on penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw with Baisley United. Dormelus Sanon scored for Baldwin and Richard Walker scored for Baisley during regulation time.

Cheiek Tidiani led the way for New York Hota Bavarians with four goals in their 6-3 win over Oceanside United. Jose Urbina added two goals for Hota, while Godswill Emenike, Danny Santos, and Sergio Teodoro each scored for Oceanside.

Baldwin and Hota both advance to the semi-finals where they'll face each other on Sunday, December 3.

O-50 DeLuca League Cup

Polonia defeated Oyster Bay Park by a score of 4-1. Tony Koskinas had two goals, while Dariusz Zielonka and Jacek Przybylski each scored one for Polonia. Manuel Laguna was the Oyster Bay goalscorer.

New York Hota Bavarians defeated Oceanside United 2-0 on goals by Raymond Campbell and Bryan Warde.

Anestis Apostolidis was the goalscorer for Olympiacos New York in their 1-0 win over New York Polet / Rudar.

Baisley United defeated Massapequa SC 2-1 on goals by Richard Walcott and Everton Grant. Raphael Ramirez was the Massapequa goalscorer.

With the final round of games concluded, New York Hota Bavarians will host Massapequa SC in the first semi-final, while Baisley United will host Polonia in the other semi-final. Both games will be played on Sunday, November 19.

Premier Division

Kosmos United CY defeated Forest Park 2-0 on goals by Apostolos Polianidis and Sunnatillo Khusanov.

Division 1

Forest Park defeated Kosmos United CY with Nikolas Vidal getting a hat-trick and Brighan Ortiz adding a goal. Matthew Laya-Vetell and Jonathan Jaramillo were the Kosmos goalscorers.

PDB Irish Rovers defeated Real New York FC 2-0 on goals by Mathew Panzenback and Joshua Guriel.

Division 3

Asteras GCC defeated NYCD Boldest Soccer FC. Christopher Petsalis and Faidon Theofilakos each scored twice with Minas Lyristis and Evangelos Kragouras each adding a goal. Santiago Hernandez was the Boldest goalscorer.
